More than two dozen South Whidbey students have been named to the dean’s list at the University of Washington for winter quarter.
From Clinton, the outstanding scholars are: Caren Gloria Aguero, (senior); Cole Bradley Erikson, (freshman); Hannah Ruth Levi (senior); Jared David Moore, (senior); Melanie Joan Murphy, (sophomore); Jenica Dawn Nixon, (senior); Shane Christopher Sherod-Clyburn, (senior); Joseph Alan Smith, (senior); and Charlotte Grace Wilson, (senior).
From Langley, the super students are: Margaret Elizabeth Diehl, (junior); Dustin Mark Fairbrook, (senior); Casey William Fate, (freshman); Nathanial John Frei, (senior); Scott Michael Halliday, (senior); Edward George Keimach (junior); Somer Arden Kreisman, (senior); Andrew Robert Schmidt, (senior); Bridget Connell Scott, (senior); Eric Vanderbilt-Mathews, (freshman); and Rachael Wescott, (senior).
From Freeland, the dean’s list honorees are: Chris Alan Bowers, (freshman); Danielle Comeaux, (senior); Ember Wednesday Ellis, (senior); Matthew Nels Idso, (junior); Carin Amanda Lodell, (senior); Michela Deann Mattens, (sophomore); and Samantha Rose Pope, (junior).
And from Greenbank, Kevin Allan McDonald, (freshman), earned the honor.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4). Students are notified that they have achieved this distinction when they receive their grades for the quarter.
