The Board of Commissioners of the Port District of South Whidbey Island will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The board and staff plan to discuss an update of Phase 1 construction, planning consultant selection for Possession Ramp Rebuild, economic parameters for the comprehensive scheme development and other topics as time permits. Public participation is not on the agenda for the special meeting.

The next regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners is Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the meeting room of the South Whidbey Parks and Recreation office at 5475 Maxwelton Roa d. The regular meeting will include public participation.

The special meeting will be held in the port office conference room, located at 1804 Scott Road, Freeland, following an informal workshop from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
