Sweet Mona’s Chocolate Boutique has moved across the street in Langley and is planning a grand opening of its new location next week.

The new shop is at 221 Second Street, Suite 16, tucked into Langley Village. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, everything in the store will be buy one, get one free. Other offerings include a chocolate dipping station, a chocolate tasting wheel, specialty chocolate beverages, dessert tastings, balloons, and drawings for gifts and prizes.

Mona Newbauer and her husband Tony spent the past four months working on the building which they purchased. The chocolate shop had occupied a building on Second Street near the Star Store parking lot since February 2006.
