Motorists near Freeland Park will see more cars on the road than usual this Saturday as Island Christian Academy hosts its first P.T.O. fundraiser, “The P.T.O. Plunge,” at the park.

Students from the school will brave the chilly water of Holmes Harbor for donations. If the group raises $2,000, the school’s director and assistant director will take the plunge. And if $3,000 is raised, all the teachers will jump into the harbor, too.

The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Coffee, cocoa and cupcakes will be served by donation, and all proceeds will go to Island Christian Academy P.T.O. and will benefit the teachers, students and families.
