U.S. Bank’s Langley branch is one of the company’s best in the country, the publicly traded U.S. Bancorp announced this week.
The branch was recently honored with the Top Tier Award, which ranks it among the top 1 percent of community branches nationwide. Additionally, Brandon Turner, branch manager; Michael Davidson, sales and service manager; and Signe Cvar, teller at the Langley branch are among the top performing employees nationwide awarded for their outstanding achievement and superior performance, according to a Wednesday news release.
“The employees of the Langley branch have made an impact in the company and community by providing excellent service and commitment,” said Michael Burke, U.S. Bank district manager for Northwest Washington.
The branch staff also includes Michael Kieke, banker.
Turner and Davidson both grew up on the South End and are graduates of South Whidbey High School. They returned to the island to raise their families and joined forces in late 2011 to run the Langley branch of U.S. Bank.
Turner is also vice president of the HUB. Davidson is a Langley Chamber of Commerce board member.
Cvar is from Woodinville, but spent summers on Whidbey. She exemplifies “great customer service and goes above and beyond to ensure that ordinary transactions become extraordinary interactions,” the news release said. She has won Annual Stellar Teller awards every year since 2012; they’re given to the top five percent of customer service tellers in community banking.
Finally, Kieke joined the Langley team as universal banker late in 2014 and has been huge part of their success, winning multiple quarterly awards himself, the release said.
U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB), with $429 billion in assets as of March 31, 2016, is the parent company of U.S. Bank National Association, the fifth largest commercial bank in the United States. The company operates 3,129 banking offices in 25 states.
