A political forum featuring candidates seeking open public office this November will be held in Freeland Thursday.
Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island and Sno-Isle Libraries, the forum is scheduled to run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 11, and will be held in at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Church off Highway 525, about two miles north of Freeland.
Participating candidates include those vying for Island County commissioner, Districts 1 and 2; candidates for state representative in the 10th Legislative District, Positions 1 and 2; and those seeking the district’s open Senate seat.
Second Congressional District candidates will not attend.
