Art lovers can preview the 2008 Whidbey Open Studio Tour tonight and tomorrow at two pre-tour receptions.

Check out samples of artists’ work and begin planning your tour — which happens Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28 — while enjoying appetizers and refreshments.

The first Tour Preview Reception will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Crockett Barn, 1056 Crockett Farm Road, Coupeville.

Tomorrow, the Bayview Cash Store Front Room in Langley will hold another pre-tour reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Both preview exhibits will continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the week until the end of the tour.

Pick up prepaid ticket/calendars or purchase tickets in either of these locations starting tomorrow.
