Whidbey Sounders Toastmasters Club held its annual officer installation at the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Effective July 1, new board members are: Teresa Coe, president; Aaron Taggert, VP Education; JR Russell, VP Membership; Benjamin Cox, VP Public Relations; Jim Jolly, Immediate Past President; Tammi Moses, Secretary; Janis Powell, treasurer; and Hector Powell, Sargeant at Arms.

“Whidbey Sounders Toastmasters Club provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills,” said Coe.

The Toastmasters meet  at 6:30 p.m. the second, fourth and fifth Tuesdays of each month in the banquet room of the VFW, 3037 Goldie Road, Oak Harbor.

Meetings are open to the public.
