Whidbey Island resident Hannah Lee Jones is organizing a charity bike ride from Seattle to San Francisco to benefit Kenyan youth.

Called the Ndoto Project, the inaugural ride is planned for Sept. 3-18. Organizers hope to raise $16,500 for scholarships and trainings for Kenyan youths.
