The Christian Science Society will meet at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at 15910 Highway 525, Freeland.

The Christian Science service celebrates God as the “Only Cause and Creator” (Mary Baker Eddy); the recognition of God as all-in-all negates evil and negative effects such as sin, sickness, and death, explaining Jesus’ mission and teaching. “Physical causation was put aside from first to last by this original man, Jesus. He knew that the divine principle, love, creates and governs all that is real” (Science and Health).
