Washington State Ferries will hold its next round of community meetings, and topics this time include current operations, efficiencies and reform in the system, the 2011 Legislative Session, the new vessel program, and WSF’s action plan in response to the Passenger Vessel Association report.
The Whidbey meeting is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13 in Langley.
The other announced meetings are 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 in Bremerton; 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 in Kingston; 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 in Port Orchard (Southworth); 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, Bainbridge Island; noon on Monday, Dec. 6 in Port Townsend (joint meeting with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce); 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, Vashon Island; 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, Friday Harbor, San Juan Islands.
