Alyce Eliza (Burmeister) Monson, 94, of Bush Point, died at Careage of Whidbey on April 28, 2009, after a brief illness.

Her final weeks were spent surrounded by family, and with the constant companionship and care of her two daughters, Mary Alice Kois and Martha Olsen.

Alyce’s ashes will be buried in the family plot at Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville. A private family memorial service is being planned.

Memorial gifts in Alyce’s name may be made to the memorial fund of the Coupeville United Methodist Church, or to a charity of your choice.
