Andrea Trum Le Bosquet, 61, passed away peacefully at her home in Greenbank on March 13, 2010.
A proud graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, Andrea’s passion for learning led to a successful career in education.
After many years in the classroom, she retired to Whidbey Island in 1994, following in the footsteps of her parents, Navy Rear Admiral H.J. and Elaine Carlson Trum.
Never one to take it easy, she quickly filled her days with new hobbies, new friends and plenty of adventures.
Though she was talented in many, many things, Andrea especially loved cooking, quilting and needlework. The numerous groups she belonged to will miss her creative spirit, quick wit and passion for trying (and finishing) new projects.
Andrea is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Nichola and David Fortney; the world’s most adored grandson, Elliott Fortney; as well as her constant four-legged companions, Charlotte and Isabella.
A celebration of Andrea’s wonderful, joy-filled life is planned for July. Remembrances on her behalf can be made to Whidbey General Home Health Care and Hospice.
