Aprile Gaudinier, cherished wife of Mark Gaudinier, and beloved daughter of Bill and Cleda Stephens, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, at their home in Coupeville, Washington. She was 33 years into a joyful marriage with Mark, whom she wed on New Year’s Day in 1991.

A gentle and happy soul, Aprile found joy in simple pleasures—painting, creating Christmas cards, scrapbooking, and listening to her favorite music while gazing at the ocean from her kitchen window. She lived a serene life on Whidbey Island, nurturing her love for children, nature, and the beach. Aprile cherished the time spent with her husband and their beloved cat, Suzie Q.
Aprile will be profoundly missed, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be missed forever, starting now. She often loved saying, “Remember how purple life used to be?”
