Ardella Ruth Josephson: Jan. 22, 1936 - March 16, 2021

Ardella Ruth Josephson, 85, of Freeland, Wash., passed peacefully surrounded by family on March 16, 2021. Ardella was born on Jan. 22, 1936 in Ramona, Kan. She graduated from Everett High School in 1954. She wed Leon Josephson in 1957, and they started a family in Marysville, Wash., raising daughter Jamie and son Jeffrey.

Ardella was predeceased by her parents Rudy and Ann Kahns and sisters Lela Denton and Joyce Hanschu. She is survived by her husband Leon; daughter Jamie Jones (Jeffrey); son Jeffrey Josephson (Patty); brother Ronald Kahns; and sister Karla Gorham (Jay).

“GrammaDella” was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held 11 a.m. June 19, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland, Wash. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
