Burton Wesley Clemens, 86, of Langley, died April 20, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 16, 1917, in Washington, D.C., to Paul McTeer and Lois Clemens.
He worked for McDonnell Douglas for 35 years, was a consultant for the Air Force for 10 years, and worked for the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 10 years. He moved to Whidbey Island four years ago.
He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Clemens.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Clemens, of Langley; a son, Gary McTeer Clemens, and his wife, Vicki, of Renton; a daughter-in-law, Jody Clemens of Langley; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
There will be no services.
