Carl ‘Bud’ Spengler Jr.

Carl F. “Bud” Spengler, Jr. died Friday, April 4, 2014, at Emerald Heights in Redmond, Wash.

Born in New York City to Carl and Gladys Spengler, Bud graduated from Ross High School in Fremont, Ohio in 1947 and from Ohio State University in 1953. After serving in the United States Air Force, Bud enjoyed a successful career in employee benefits, retiring as an executive from Johnson & Higgins in 1987.

Bud is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy (Curtin) Spengler; four married children and 12 grandchildren.

Bud’s life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Emerald Heights, Redmond, Wash.
