Carol Noble: December 22, 1940 – October 3, 2021

Carol A. Noble passed away at home on October 3, 2021. She was born to R.L. and Phoebe Olson in Hoopeston, IL on December 22, 1940. She attended school there until she was 15 and then attended Darrington High School where she graduated in 1959. Carol met her future husband, Dick Noble, at a high school dance and they were married on May 12, 1960.

Due to Dick’s military career, they lived an adventorous life and lived many places: Ft. Campbell, KY, Mainz, Germany (where their son, Rob, was born), Ft. Bragg, NC (where their daughter Beth, was born), Ft. Devens, MA, Ft. Bliss, TX, Boblingen Germany, Bad Tolz, Germany, and Fort Lewis, WA. They retired to Snoqualmie Pass, WA and throughly enjoyed those years until Dick passed away in 2005. Carol then moved to Camano Island and stayed until her passing. She is survived by her son, Rob Noble, of Everett; daughter, Beth (Klint) Sheets of Albany, OR; granddaughters, Katharine (Israel) Gutierrez and Meghan (Dustin) LaGrange, Jenessa (Spencer) Stutzman; great-grandchildren Emily, Mia and Wyatt; brother-in-law Ted (Sally) Noble, sister-in-law Judy Blanton, brother-in-law Bud (Rosie) Noble, niece Marilyn (Jimmy) Kolacek, niece Roseanne (Lester) Stockhorst and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Tahoma National Cemetery November 10, 2021. She was laid to rest with her husband, Dick. Carol was such a fun mom, grandma and Gigi! She was always laughing and smiling. Her family will love and miss her forever.
