Charles D. Taulbee, Clinton, 77, died Dec. 5, 2003, on Whidbey Island.

He was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Minot, N.D. He retired from Metro Transit in 1990 after 47 years with that agency.

He is survived by Eldeen H. Taulbee, his wife of 50 years; a daughter, Darlene; three sons, Kenneth, Charles and Earl; six grandchildren, Adam, Jennifer, Naomi, Cullen, Cedar and Carsen; and a great-grandchild, Milo.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at Maxwelton Christian Fellowship Church, 7041 Maxwelton Road, Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Whidbey General Hospital or New Hope International.
