Christopher Raymond Reed, 86, passed away Feb. 5, 2007 at Careage of Whidbey in Coupeville.
He was born Aug. 5, 1920, in Nampa, Idaho a son of Christopher and Natalie Reed.
He was raised in Seattle and attended the University of Washington. He was a market manager for Safeway for many years.
Mr. Reed was a great outdoors man and loved to hunt. He also loved his dogs, Suzy the basset and Sadie the standard poodle. He and his wife, Flo have been residents of Whidbey Island for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Flo of Clinton; his sisters-in-law, Cecelia Reed of Clinton and Jackie Yates of Vancouver, B.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Reed.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Visser Funeral Home, Langley.
