Constance D. (Lewis) King died Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Seattle, Wash., after a fight with a brain tumor.
She was born Jan. 9, 1953 at Swedish Hospital to Stan and LaVerne Lewis. Youngest of four, Connie graduated from Shoreline High School in 1971 and Seattle Pacific College in 1976. In 1979, she married Bill King.
She had two children, William and Anna, who were raised on Whidbey Island and two step-children, Bill Jr. and Beverly.
She was an accomplished artist who loved to paint, and sculpted in a variety of mediums. She worked with 4-H on Whidbey Island, and in 2000 she and Bill moved the family to Hawaii.
She survived by her husband of 34 years Bill King, her children William King and Anna Lizama, her step-children Bill King Jr. and Beverly King; three siblings, Duane Lewis, Jerry Lewis and Colleen Nollette, and five grandchildren. She will be missed.
