Curtis “Curt” Mitchell, 71, of Langley, died March 17, 2003.

He was born July 30, 1931, in San Francisco, Calif.

He and his wife moved to Langley in 2001 from Northern California, where he enjoyed a long and satisfying career as a ranger in the California State Park System.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Mitchell; a son, Steve; a daughter-in-law, Colleen Lawson; and grandsons Ben Templeton and Sam Mitchell.

Services will be private.
