Dan R. Combs, 55, of Freeland, died Nov. 26, 2003.

He is survived by Roger W. Aaron of Freeland, his life and business partner of more than 10 years; his mother, Doris Combs; his father, French Combs; two sisters, Patty Davis, of West Alexandria, Ohio, and Charlotte Taraba of Lexington, Ky.; Sean P. and Julianne Combs; and a grandson, Ian James Combs of Weare, N.H.

According to his partner, Dan will be sorely missed by everyone he touched in life. He gave countless hours over the last 10 years in public service to the people of Washington state.

Services will be announced. Memorials can be made to the Whidbey AIDS Support Fund.
