Dennis W. Mong went to the Lord Jesus on April 27, 2007 after a short illness.

He is survived by his very loving wife and best friend of 30 years, Marsha; daughter Nadine Derra; son Vincent Mong; loving brother Steve Mong and his wife Lori; sister Paulette Messer and her daughter Shawn. He was proceeded in death by his son Robert whom he loved so very much and lost too early in life.

He was such a loved person by all who knew him. He was a self-proclaimed “old Geezer and curmudgeon” who loved life on this island. He will be missed by so many.

A special thanks to Linda Heintz, Vincent Mong and Steven Dawson for their special loving care in his last weeks and many thanks to the crew at Careage of Whidbey. They are the most caring, loving people. As it was Denny’s request there will be no services.
