Donald E. Johannson, 80, died August 25th, 2003, at his home in Langley.

Graveside services will be August 27th, at 2 p.m. at Langley Cemetery.

He was born May 28th, 1923, in Seattle, to Johann and Josephine Johannson. He married Dorothy Gillon. Fifteen years ago the couple moved to Whidbey Island from Lake Oswego, Oregon. He was active in community activities.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy G. Johannson, Langley; two sons, Gillon Scott Johannson, and Kerry Evan Johannson, both in Oregon; a daughter, Shannon Eileen Johannson and her husband, C.J. Yahnke, Langley; a sister, Aileen Adams; a brother, Gary Johannson, and three grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Visser Funeral Home, Langley.
