Donald M. Olson, a 23-year resident of South Whidbey, passed from this life on Dec. 22, 2021 to his eternal state. He was greatly loved and will be missed, leaving behind his wife of 58 years, Rachel, a son Thomas D. and wife Lynley and 3 grandchildren, Miah, McCain, and Malachi, a daughter Krista Rogers and husband Richard and 2 grandchildren Blake and Katherine, a daughter Kimberly Spear and husband Thomas E. and 2 grandchildren William and Reagan.

A memorial will be held in his honor on March 19th at 1 p.m. at the Hillside Evangelical Free Church in Greenbank. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to South Whidbey Young Life, Black Lake Bible Camp in Olympia, or Samaritan’s Purse.
