Born October 23, 1935, Donna passed away June 7, 2022 of CHF. At age 6, the family relocated to Langley, WA where she was raised along with her much loved sister, Suzanne. She graduated from Langley High School in 1953, where she met Ivan Richardson, the love of her life and they married the following year.

Donna was a devoted mother to their 2 sons, Randy & John, being involved in all their school events – sports, scouting and Sunday school. She also was an active participant in several organizations over the years; PEO, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and the International order of the Rainbow for girls. Donna & Ivan were members of the Island Church of Whidbey. Once their sons were of school age, Donna went to work for Whidbey Telecom as an operator for 19 years, maintaining lifelong friendships with her co-workers. Donna was an excellent cook, kept a lovely home and was happiest when hosting family or group events.

Retirement years included “snowbirding” to Florence, AZ where great friendships were formed, happy times were spent and fun memories were made. Donna loved to travel; with Hawaii being a favorite destination.

She is survived by her loving husband Ivan of 67 years, daughter in law Diane, 3 grandsons; Jonathan, Blake & Tyler and 1 great graandson, Blaine. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Suzanne, son John and daughter in law Laurie. Sadly, their son Randy passed away on June 22, 2022, 15 days after Donna’s death. Donna and Randy are dearly missed by their family and countless friends, but they live on in our hearts and we are grateful for the time we had with them.
