Earl B. Holmes died Dec. 8, 2008 of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 4, 1918. Earl lived in the Southern California area for most of his life, and moved to Whidbey Island in approximately 1980.

The last five years of his life he lived in Ocean Shores, Kent and finally, Montesano.

Earl is survived by his wife of 12 years Doris Reed-Holmes; daughter Janine Fox of California; grandchildren Melody, David, DeeDee, Richard, Darren and many other neices and nephews.

A service will be held at Solie Funeral Home in Everett at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec 26. All who knew Earl are welcome to attend.
