Edeath Curry Linderman, 91, died Feb. 23, 2003, in Olympia.

She was born July 16, 1911, in Hoquiam to Albert W. and Elizabeth Gillespie Curry.

She married Paul Linderman April 7, 1943, and raised three children. Paul preceded her in death in 1988.

She had an education degree from Western Washington State College and taught third and fourth grades for more than 20 years, the last seven years in Langley. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, and fed all the people Paul brought in from the cold. She enjoyed hiking and skiing on Mount Rainier in her younger days.

She is survived by three children, Charles Linderman of Los Gatos, Calif., Ann Carkeek of Kent and Janet Thompson of Olympia; a sister, Anna Rae Saville of Anchorage, Alaska; and a great-granddaughter, Amelia Carkeek-Hercey.

No funeral or memorial service is planned.
