Eldred Eckloff

Eldred Eckloff, 83, of Freeland, died June 17, 2003.

He was born in Ishpeming, Mich., and moved to Washington in 1958.

He was a World War II veteran and served in Europe. He retired from the Renton School District.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elna J. Eckloff.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Friar and Carol Eckloff; a son-in-law, Norman Bagley; two grandsons, Matthew and Joe Friar; three granddaughters, Molly and Sarah Bagley, and Michelle Snyder and her husband, John; and a great-grandson, Josh Snyder.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today, June 21, Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeland. Cremation will take place at People’s Memorial Association in Seattle.
