Elton Knott

Elton H. Knott, 85, of Freeland, died Feb. 7, 2005. He was born Jan. 7, 1920, in Kettle Falls, the son of Charles and Vesta Knott and he lived in Washington all his life.

Mr. Knott served in the Army during World War II. He married Lillian A. Knott Oct. 29, 1949. For over 35 years he worked as a riveter for Boeing. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the Eagles of Snohomish. He enjoyed baseball, family and friends.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather. He had a wonderful sense of humor. All of our lives are richer for knowing and loving him.

He is survived by his daughter Diana L. Waterman; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. His wife Lillian A. Knott; their two daughters Julian Olson and Darlene Holloum and a son, Robert Olson, preceded him in death.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Feb. 12, 2005, at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. A time of visitation was held at Solie Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Providence General Foundation, P.O. Box 1067, Everett, WA 98206.
