Gladene “Dene” Rae Knudson, born March 1, 1955, passed away Aug. 23, 2007.

Dene worked as a waitress in Mount Vernon for many years, bringing joy and the finest service to all. She loved her tie-dyed dress, rock and roll, and lived with a very giving heart.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Christine and Jason; five grandchildren, Patrick, Jacob, Ashly, Rylee, Dylan; three brothers, Mike, Tim and Ted; a sister, Allison; her mother, Louise and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Church of the Nazarene, 2710 East Fir, Mount Vernon.
