A Good man left the earth April 10, 2019 after a short courageous struggle with a sudden illness.
Born on the East Coast with higher education from University of Michigan, “GO BLUE,” where he earned his master’s degree in business. Harry then went on to work in corporate America. He eventually was sent to the West Coast and loved it.
The San Francisco, (Bay Area), was home for him for much of his life. He married and celebrated the birth of his daughter. He is so proud of her continuing studies to become a nurse.
Harry became a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous and walked that path until his recent death.
He was a Lifetime member of Harley Owners Group (HOG), Marin Chapter San Rafael, Calif.
After retirement from corporate America, he became a contractor, finding it the most rewarding of his occupations. He improved all the homes he owned and was his own contractor for his final home, which he designed and built with the love of his life, Jean.
His passion was motor vehicle racing, his favorite being non-wing Sprint cars with a favorite driver Robert Ballou. The local track, Skagit Speedway, was frequently enjoyed.
Harry loved traveling and had been to racetracks in nearly every state, meeting and making friends everywhere he went. His travels went beyond our borders.
Harry leaves behind his lady, Jean, his daughter, Denise, her partner in love, Michael, Michael Francis, his grandson, and life joy, and family and friends across the country.
The Celebration of Life for Harry will be held in June.
