Heather “Alex” Lynn Hendrickson, 42, of Mukilteo passed away unexpectedly due to a heart condition on Dec. 9, 2018.

Alex grew up on Whidbey Island. She was preceded in death by her mother Jody and survived by her daughter Julia, father Stan and sisters Lisa, Ivy and Rosa. She was a smart, independent and strong-willed woman with a great sense of humor. She was devoted to her daughter, had a passion for politics and was very active within the Democratic Party. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her and loved her.
