Born March 19, 1943, Jack Stewart Randall was a lifelong resident of the Seattle area and a 16-year resident of Whidbey Island, before he lost his hard-fought, eight-year battle with cancer and went home to be with our Lord Oct. 23, 2007.
He graduated from Roosevelt High School, Seattle and attended the University of Washington. He was a paratrooper Green Beret in the U.S. Army Reserves before joining the Seattle Fire Department, where he served 25 years at Seattle’s downtown Station 10.
He was an avid sportsman; salmon fishing and duck hunting being among his favorite activities. He was a longtime member of the NFLCC and a longtime friend of Bill W’s.
He leaves behind his wife of 14 years, Marilyn; two daughters, Jackie (and Scot), Amanda (and Patrick) and their families, including four grandchildren; and his sister Cathy (and Terry). He was preceded in death by his father Walter, his mother Ruby and his brother Bruce. He leaves many friends and extended family members who loved and admired him.
He always had a wonderful passion for life and an enthusiasm for adventure that has rarely been matched. No job was ever too large or daunting to slow him down. He loved the Lord, his family and friends and he will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held. The date is pending.
