Roma “Jean” Royse, former resident of Whidbey Island died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Regional Medical Center in Clovis, N.M. at the age of 75.

Jean was born June 27, 1930 to Buford A. and Eva

Bailey in North Hollywood, Calif. She married William J. Royse on April 8, 1950 in San Fernando Valley, Calif. Jean retired from Farmers Insurance Group with over 20 years of service.

Her husband and parents preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Vickie McCormick of Clovis, N.M., Patty Gallus of Whidbey Island and Debbie Brown of Lebanon; one brother, Bud Bailey of Chicago, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Bill Doran, Shanna Brent, Chad Hopkins, Debra Nutt, and Cassie, John and Steven Haskins. She also has two great-grandchildren (Shannon and Thomas) and one on the way.

Rev. Wayne Salguero officiated the memorial ceremony held in Clovis, N.M.
