Joseph Young

Our beloved son, father, significant other and friend Joseph Young sadly passed away from a battle with cancer on Jan. 25, 2016.

We were all so lucky to have had him with us and to enrich our lives with his healing hands and elbows. He loved to tell jokes and be a prankster to family and coworkers. He lightened up the day with his smile and positive attitude even throughout his battle with cancer. There is forever a hole in our hearts with him passing, and he will be missed every second of the day.

He is survived by his mother and father, Al and Mary Rodgers; his daughters Ashley and Sarah Young; his significant other, Justine Feathersone and step-daughter Olivia Feathersone; and his siblings, Lorie Anderson, Evan Young, Larry Young and Renee Gordon.

A celebration of Joseph’s life will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at Dancing Fish Farm, 1953 Newman Road, Freeland.
