Katie Ann Curry, born May 25, 1940 in Isle of Skye, Scotland, departed this life on Feb. 26, 2007 in Edmonds.
Prior to moving to Lynnwood, she was a longtime resident of Whidbey Island. She had worked as a registered nurse at Whidbey General Hospital.
She enjoyed knitting, traveling, reading, listening to the bagpipes, helping any animal in need of a friend, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Dale Curry of Lynnwood; children Ann Devocht and her husband Christian of Ormond Beach, Fla., James Nowlin of Bothell, Heather Hubbard and her husband Mark of Bothell; her mother Annie McDermid of Isle of Skye, Scotland; her brother John Morrison of Port Coquitlam, B.C.; and her grandchildren McKenzie, Cullen, Morgan and Scottie.
A celebration of Katie’s life will be held at a later date in Scotland. Memorials in her name may be made to PAWS. Arrangements entrusted to Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, Lynnwood.
