Lois Marie (Graham) Gorg was born in Tacoma, Wash. on Sept, 7, 1945. She passed away in her home in Clinton, Wash., on Saturday Nov. 9, 2019 with her beloved husband of 52 years, Ralph Gorg.
She leaves behind a son, Michael Gorg (Michelle), of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Lois Marie grew up in Tacoma, attending Visitation Elementary School and St. Leo’s High School. She held several jobs, but her favorite was as a para-educator in the Auburn School District. She was most happy being a wife and mother.
Lois had a beautiful singing voice and sang in church choirs from her youth until she could no longer sing. She also enjoyed singing with The Old Time Fiddlers in Algona, Wash. A
fter retiring, Lois Marie and Ralph moved to a log home they had built in Clinton, Wash., on Whidbey Island, where they enjoyed the peace of the forest and island life.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, George and Lois Graham, and her brother, Michael. In addition to her husband and son, she leaves behind two brothers, George (Pat) and Patrick (Mernie), and a sister Mary (E.D.) Pickell. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She really loved her family dogs throughout the years.
A celebration of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at St. Huberts Catholic Church in Langley, Wash. She will be interred at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, Wash.
