Lois Ann Chapman Taylor, 64, died Jan. 9, 2003, in Coupeville.
She was born Nov. 16, 1938, in New Kensington, Pa., to Lois Lucille Chapman of Langley and Eugene R. Chapman.
She graduated from South West High School in Kansas City, Mo., and attended Kansas State University.
She received Jesus Christ as her lord and savior at age 20 and together with her husband, Bob Taylor, served as a missionary in Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico, from 1964 to 1976. The couple then moved to Whidbey Island.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Taylor; her mother, Lois Chapman of Langley; two sons, Bobby Taylor and his wife, Ashleigh, and Danny Taylor, Tacoma; three daughters, Debby Buchanan of Clinton, Becky Pratt and her husband, Tim, and Rachel McLarty and her husband, Andrew, who are missionaries in Ukraine; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Chapman of Freeland and Dave Chapman of Kirkland; and a sister, Donna King of Santa Clarita, Calif.
A memorial service is planned at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Calvary Chapel, Clinton.
