Marian Joy Brookman, 72, passed away Jan. 6, 2008.

She was born Aug. 6, 1935, to Peter J. and Marie Peters, in Clinton and resided in Langley on Whidbey Island.

She met her husband Art Brookman in San Diego, Calif., and they were married on May 19, 1962.

They have been residents of Solana Beach, Calif., for more than 40 years.

Marian was a homemaker and mother of two sons. She is survived by husband Art Brookman; sons and daughters-in-law, Tory and Shannon Brookman and Darby and Eileen Brookman; four grandchildren, Breeanne and Garrett Brookman, Michael Ventura and Cheyne Linkogle; and sisters Anne Primavira, Louise Scriven, June White and Francis Peters.

Marian requested no memorial or services.
