Mary Noel Roberts Johnson of Langley, WA passed away peacefully November 13, 2016 surrounded by loved ones.
Mary was born July 24, 1943 in Kingsville, Texas to her parents George and Ovelle Roberts. She was an elder sister to twins Lynn and Gwenn.
Mary started her career as a world traveler in 1966 with United Airlines as a flight attendant. For 39 years she flew across the world seeing the sights of Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, England, Tokyo and Honolulu.
She continued her love of travel as a competitive bridge player and educated others locally and on cruise ships.
Mary was highly involved in her community. Mary served the people of A.A. for over 20 years.
She was an avid golfer for over 30 years and a member of the Useless Bay Golf and Country Club. She amassed a large circle of friends and loved ones through her years and will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her partner Chuck Edwards and his children; grandchildren Nolan, Sophia, and Claire through whom she experienced much delight, her Sister Gwenn Root and nephews Brian and Brandon Black.
A Celebration of life service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland on Tuesday November 22nd.
