MaryAnn Gwin, 76, died July 9, 2016.
She was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Bellingham, Wash., to Victor and Nellie Daniels.
She married Gary Gwin on Sept. 7, 1957, in Bellingham.
MaryAnn was an administrative assistant at St. Augustine Episcopal Church on Whidbey Island. Through the years she was heavily involved in her community as a volunteer, working with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Issaquah, Assumption Catholic Church in Bellingham and St. Hubert Catholic Church on Whidbey Island.
MaryAnn loved to camp and travel, once traversing the United States in 13 months. She also spent time in Italy and Greece with family. MaryAnn was also an avid bowler, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.
She is survived by husband Gary; daughters, Cynthia Knutson (Philip), Teresa Bretz (Calvin) and Sheri Johnson; sons, Gary Gwin (Ron) and Thomas Gwin (Brandi); sisters, Rosemary Walsh (John), Mildred Nelson and Georgean Gordon (Steve); eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A rosary will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Anthony Davis officiating. There will be a reception at the church. Burial will be at Greenacres Memorial Park in Bellingham.
