Maryanne Fitzpatrick, 50, a 15-year resident of Greenbank, died July 2, 2003, at her home.

She was born Dec. 12, 1952, in Whittier, Calif., to Michael Francis Fitzpatrick and Marjorie Joyce (Cole) Fitzpatrick. She was raised in La Puente, Calif., and graduated from La Puente High School. She remained in Southern California until 1986, when she moved to Mill City, Ore. She moved to Greenbank in 1988.

Her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, John R. Smith III, and wife Erin of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren, Tyler, Connor and Jillian Smith; a sister, Dorothy Fitzpatrick of Salem, Ore.; three brothers, Mark Fitzpatrick of Monrovia, Calif., Dennis Fitzpatrick of Goldendale and Michael Fitzpatrick and wife Vicky of La Puente, Calif.; three nephews, Ryan, Sean and Connor Fitzpatrick; a niece, Kelley Fitzpatrick; her very dear friend Terry Fritz, Greenbank; as well as many other friends.

A memorial gathering and potluck will be held 1-4 p.m. July 19 at the American Legion Hall near Bayview.
