Michael Wesley Simpson was born July 27, 1950 in Pittsburg, Texas and went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 6, 2007.

He was raised in Seattle and was a graduate of the University of Washington. He maintained a residence on Whidbey Island for several years and recently located to Ocala, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Jayne; daughter, Meaghan Virginia Banash and her husband Tim of Vernon Hills, Ill.; a brother, Jim Simpson; sisters, Judith Magness, Kaye Ponton, Lynne Cook and many nieces and nephews. We all loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 8 at Calvary Chapel, 3821 French Road, Clinton.
