Mike Jovich, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 58 on
June 25, 2010.
His life has left a legacy of honor and respect for his love of God, family, and friends.
He was always willing and ready to help out whatever the need. Mike enjoyed serving others with his skill in building construction, auto maintenance, and know how. These past 15 years, he had been employed at Lakeside Bible Camp as caretaker, maintaining the buildings and groups. But his most significant impact has been working with young people listening, laughing, and giving wise counsel. He will be truly missed.
Mike was born in Seattle on Sept. 25, 1951 and attended Evergreen High School. After 25 years owning his own construction company in South Seattle area, God provided a job at Lakeside Bible Camp.
He is survived by his wife Alice; his son Brian and Laura, grandchildren Hannah, Ethan and Ben; his son John and Katie, grandchildren Amya and Logan; and his daughter Sarah (Evan) Beilke. We all loved him dearly, but know he lived his life to bring glory to God and now is at home with his Savior.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Langley.
If you would like to make a donation in his honor to Lakeside Bible Camp for the Youth Scholarship Fund, PO Box 310, Clinton, his family would be most grateful.
