Naomi Irene Sheridan, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to her precious Lord and Savior on Aug. 20, 2007.

She was born to Ralph and Etta Smith on July 11, 1920 in Seattle.

She was preceded in death by husband Wayne and daughter Linda. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Gary) Shackelford of Tacoma, Bert (Judy) Sheridan of Sedro Woolley and Paul Sheridan of Oak Harbor. She is also survived by her precious eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Wherever she lived, Naomi was active in a local church. Recently, she was a member of First Baptist Church of University Place. She volunteered for 11 years at the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and this past year, she enjoyed working with “The Third Grade Readers” from Life Christian School. She was living at Life Manor and made many dear friends there. We all miss her greatly, but we know that she is experiencing “the everlasting life promised to all those who believe in Him.”

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at Temple Baptist Church, located at 1108 Columbia Ave., Fircrest.
