Nathalie Averett passed away Aug. 7, 2011 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living Facility in Freeland at the age of 90.

She was born in Billings, Mont. on June, 18, 1921 to Girard and Hilda Bailey Smith.

Nathalie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Girard (Jerry) Smith and husband, Bert Averett. She is survived by her sister Paula Barnes of Portland, Ore.; daughter Susan Averett and husband Erick Westphal of Freeland; granddaughter Ariana Rahmani, step-son Gary Averett and wife Lynn Simon of Tucson, Ariz.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 13 at Maple Ridge in Freeland. Many thanks to all who attended, and who loved and cared for Nathalie.
