Pat Norman Clyde, 73, of Marysville, died April 21, 2003.
He was born June 9, 1929, in Langley to Norman and Hazel Clyde.
He graduated from Langley High School and attended Whitworth College and Western Washington University. He excelled in football and baseball, and played professional baseball for several seasons.
He owned and operated PNC Security for 34 years. He merged his company with Whatcom Security and was a special representative in this area for the past three years. He enjoyed YMCA membership and played senior slowpitch baseball for 10 years.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mitch.
He is survived by Joan, his wife of 51 years; his mother, Hazel Clyde; a brother, Richard, and his wife, Audrey; two sisters, Joye and her husband, Jim, and Judy and her husband, Bill; a daughter, Diane, and her husband, Tom; two granddaughters, Kate, of Long Beach, Calif., and Emily; a great-grandson, Liam; two nieces, Sandy and her husband, Chris, and Karen; and a nephew, Joe, and his wife, Brenda.
No services will be held.
Memorials may be made to Marysville Free Methodist Church.
