Patrick Francis Locke passed away from flu complications on Jan. 26, 2014. He was 53 years old.

Pat was a long-time resident of Langley, where he was well known and loved, and a friend to many. Pat spent many hours over the years at Good Cheer where he will surely be missed. Pat belonged to Island Church where he had many friends.

Pat spent his childhood in Des Plaines, Ill., and moved to Whidbey Island in 1987.

He is preceded by his father Richard Locke. He is survived by his mother Rose Locke, brother Joe (and Lydia) Locke, sisters Terry (and Jeff) Wegner, Pam Locke and Heidi (and Maurice) Hofman.

He was a loving uncle to Brian (and Susie) Wegner, Tom and Jamie Wegner, Steven, Scott, Christopher and Stephanie Locke and Claire and Alex Hofman. A special thanks to Paul Simmons for being the best friend Pat ever had, and to Pastors Bob, Patrick and Mike for your support.

A memorial will be held 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Island Church in Langley.

Rest in peace, Pat. You will be deeply missed.
